"I thought they might need a doctor to repair the dolls - so I made this character, a bit exhausted looking - the kind of character that keeps sewing them up, not with great enthusiasm or even much hope, but just to do what they can, for as long as they can."

"I didn't like how the original characters were so 'soft/friendly' looking so I made my own Tuff Hero version. His number is 0 and he is made to resemble a Ninja. He does not talk. His weapons are held in place by pockets that are stitched to his back eliminating the need for strap type weapon holders. He can climb up walls with the help of the screws that protrude through the palms of his hands.
The creature below him is his loyal pet Bones which is wearing a Mongoose skull and has a zipper running from the base of its skull to the back of its hind legs where the zipper ends like a tail."

My rag doll's name is Little Raggs, he is toddler like with his toy cars and boots that came off a teddy bear (that is what the T & B stand for). My favourite part to draw was the key that is placed as the feather in his hat.

"Here is my entry...I call it #10. I tried to make it look like she could have been an extra character in the movie, with a shaman-feel to it. I liked the tribal-ness of the only girl in the movie, and thought it might be nice to make another more like her, but instead of hunting prowness, she has more of a spiritual instinct.
Her role relating to the others is a comforter, a peace-bringer, someone to help bring clarity and stability to an otherwise hopeless and terrifying situation. She helps strengthen the bonds between the rest of the dolls and guides them when they are in doubt. With her help they better understand their purpose in their world of mayhem and distruction. While not the leader, who makes decisions based on the welfare of the group, she is the one they turn to when they begin to ask questions about their existance and survival that the leader, by nature, wouldn't know how to answer - to him, it just is."

"This is my own ragdoll, Ched. He's smart, kinda scientist guy, and can be dangerous for the bad guys that's why an evil witch cursed him, making his mouth sewed permenantly. He uses his necklaced board and chalk to communicate. Because of this, he can not share much of his knowledge and be of great help to anybody, so he's on a quest to break the evil witch's spell. And oh, if the ragdolls in the movie need to eat then Ched is not able to feel hunger nor be hungry unless the curse is lifted."

"This unnamed rag doll dwells in a marshland where he has quietly lived for several years. As a result of his surroundings, bits of dirt and mud cling to him and his body has become covered with moss and little fragments of other plant life. This has given him a somewhat monstrous appearance, but he a peaceful being. He knows some speech, but has not spoken in years since he mostly encounters animals and has not met any of the other rag dolls. His defining trait is patience, so he spends most of his time sitting still and watching the nature around him constantly changing and considers himself to be a part of it. His "eyes" have become rusty and loose, so he frequently needs to adjust them. Despite his peaceful lifestyle, creatures such as birds and rodents and frogs occasionally attack him, and at these times he will not hesitate to use his scalpel as a weapon. On the rare occasion that he may go exploring, he can use this to slice through obstacles or rotting plants, as it is the equivalent of an ax for a creature of his size. He is quite content with his life."

"#10 - The Scout the others send out first to survey an area and watch out for danger. He rides his wheel like a skateboard. Getting faster and faster with every push of his right foot until he is riding his wheel and balancing on tiny beams while he sways and leans with the wind. Spinning and Agile, he watches out for them in their dangerous world. His wheel enables him to travel to places the others can’t go! He reports back to them with speed and vigilance. His right hand has the ability to spin really fast clockwise or counterclockwise for maybe turning a wheel. He stutters in speech but he is quick witted and alert. He can see a bomb coming from miles away. His senses are enhanced to make for a better watcher. His one eye can zoom in and out like a telescope. The scientist took his right eye off so he could bewilder his opponent and play dead."

"I guess my character could be the "electrical" guy, a specialist involving anything electronic. I used the idea of "found objects" for the composition of my character... he's made of old fabric and a tiny bit of burlap. Twist ties and copper wire hold his legs and wrists together. He uses part of a shoe as a protective vest and a thimble as a helmet. He replaced his right arm with a Barbie arm. He also has staples for eyebrows (my favorite part!!!).
I noticed that most of the characters had a weapon of some sort, so I made a weapon for him out of a plug, piping, and some washers at the bottom. He can zap enemies with it or use the plug to tap into an electrical outlet if the others needed power. He normally holds the staff with his right arm, since the plastic would absorb any electricity, he wouldn't get hurt while working or fighting."

"I tried to go with the burlap sewn, rag doll things... except mine are cats. As always.
I wanted to focus on the casualties of war. In this post-apocalyptic world, there are bound to be some children left behind without anyone to care for them... fearing for their lives, trying to survive by scavenging in alleyways for food and shelter. We hope they have the strength to persevere, and yet we know they are frail and inexperienced, and will most likely be unable to withstand the odds and will become faceless statistics."

"Meet "Vee-Bee (v. b), she's just a baby doll, but she is the hope for the future for all dolls. The dolls are evolving... they have realized being more "human like" is not the answer. If it were, the humans' would have survived. Instead, they are evolving to be more 'doll like.' "Vee-Bee" is version.b of the dolls' evolution. She doesn't have the human faults of greed, envy, or hate. Rather, she has added elements in her 'life force' that allow her to share & unite with other dolls. With the new ability to combine 'life force's," the machines are no match for them. Indeed, they are now superior to their original creators, possessing all of their strengths and none of their weaknesses."
