Buyers' guide to the Honor System
If you're interested in purchasing art from one of our artists here, you should know a few things.
What is an artist's Honor level?
In each artist's profile you will see a graphic that looks like this:
This icon shows how much the artist has given back to the site in participation and money. It is another tool you can use as a buyer to establish trust between yourself and an artist.
An Honor level (or artist rating) of 20% or greater is considered good. 50% plus is excellent.
Your purchase is between you and the artist
All art purchased is entirely between you and the artist you're purchasing from. Foundmyself offers no support for transactions. Please read the section on "Buying and Selling" in the user agreement (on the registration page). We recommend contacting the artist up front and ironing out all details before you buy, including shipping instructions, guarantees, damaged art, etc.
That being said, you can still have a pleasant, successful buying experience on the site! The Honor System can help facilitate that experience.
