Foundmyself is a fun place, or at least we like to think so. Part of the reason it's a nice place to be is that spammers and criminals are moderated and, yes, censored.
Spam
You might be wondering, what constitutes a spammer? How do we make that detmination? A spammer on Foundmyself usually displays at least some of these key traits:
- Signing up for an account with a non-sensical name, often with a porn site link
- Signing up many times from a single IP address
- Making irrelevant posts, most often an advertisement of some sort
- Posting duplicate threads, many times in the wrong forum
- Abusing, or otherwise making the community or its members feel threatened or at risk
There are a handful of traits, but most of us know spammers when we see them. Spamming is not tolerated on Foundmyself. Posts that are determined to be spam may be edited or deleted immediately.
Buying and selling
Foundmyself is not responsible for the transaction between an artist and his client, and is not responsible for sales, including but not limited to failed or late payments, non-delivery of goods, fraudulent posts, misrepresentations of ownership, copyright infringements or damaged goods. You buy and sell at your own risk.
Copyrights
Copyrights are great things. They protect intellectual property from being sold or displayed without the owner's permission. Any image or material you post to this site, whether it's to the message board, the gallery, the poetry section or otherwise, must be owned by you. If it's not, you must have the permission of the owner to display it.
If you feel that someone might be disobeying copyright laws, don't hesitate to contact us. If you are unsure whether you are violating copyright laws, visit the US Copyright Office Online.
Sexual material
Sexual content is allowed, but overtly pornographic images and other media are not. It is up to the administrators of this website to make such a determination.
Prohibited material
Any material posted or uploaded to the board must not be illegal, or encourage illegal activity; it must also not contain any references to giveaways, raffles, lotteries or other prizes.
Account suspension/banning
If a user continually breaks the Terms of Service, his or her account may be suspended indefinitely at the administrator's discretion. Any monetary donations made by such a user will not be taken into consideration if the user is purposefully disrupting the community.
