Beth Dziedzic
I have art in my heart. It's always been there, waiting to burst out. As a Baby Boomer, I had other parts of my heart to fulfill, I married, raised a family, even spent some time as a crafter and "dabbled" in painting folk art and then original hand-painted southwestern T's, but turned to a career in marketing which finally has made me a manager. I faced life changes, and yearned for something that was missing during the last few years. I attended some art classes. I was not inspired enough in oils. And then I connected with waterpainting. I embraced it and started working on some very complicated paintings. I was super critical of my own work. So a friend encouraged me to take a mixed media workshop. From there I fell into what some have called my "niche", and my own unique style. I struggled with having the confidence to express myself in watercolors, but the combination of watercolors with various different mediums led me to create images that just flowed from somewhere deep inside of me. I am proud to say I am an artist, and Igrow with each completed piece. I lose myself in my work and I know that my style is uniquely mine. You will always find my heart in my work. I'd love to hear your feedback on my current work.
