Arc de Triomphe

This mixed media painting features one of Paris's most recognized monuments....the Arc De Triomphe. I took the stairs to the top...wow, what a workout. This small jewel is painted over a map of Paris mounted on canvas and features found objects that I collected during my visit. It also features vintage (circa 1940) French and British postage stamps (across the top of the arch) from my personal collection. This piece is unframed on standard bars .....allowing you to pick a frame that best fits your decor. This piece is very festive and personifies the electric atmosphere of the City of Lights.
