EvonneBishop
Through expressions in several mediums, Evonne Bishop has displayed a love for beauty and art. She was encouraged by her father to develope her talents through a four volume instuction course. As a child, Evonne was especially taken with portraits. She developed her skills with colored pencil and recognition came at an early age.Portrait technique developed rapidly, and in 1984 business began in Kentucky. Ribbons and awards brought fine encouragement. After a move to the San Francisco North Bay, guidance began with instructor Joyce Hasselbeck. This has proved especially fruitful.
Evonne has shown in the Sonoma, Marin and Harvest Fairs. Kendall-Jackson Winery has given their support with Art Receptions as well as the acclaimed Healdsburg "Art in the Plaza". Especially supportive is Linda Reiger of San Francisco's prestigious "Yountchi-Reiger Fine Art Gallery". Her work is has ben represented in galleries in Kauai and in the California Wine Country. With special thanks to her husband Steve; without his fervent support, horizons would never have been met.
Evonne's work speaks of emotion, depth and color; always looking to express the abundant natural beauty around her. Subjects range from the Human Form to Architecture, Botanicals, as well as Sea and Landscapes.
Grateful to the Creator for her talents, Evonne invites you to share in the adventure and let her capture the emotion.
