Description

This piece was inspired by a visit to Lickey Hills which is located in Birmingham. The painting consists of a view facing towards the trees. Through the gaps one was able to see the light shimmering through the leaves. The use of colour to represent this aspect is exaggerated mainly because I intended to capture the light and portray the feeling and experience to the viewer.

About the artist

I'm currently a University student in Birmingham and I am studying Architecture. I've always enjoyed painting, creating and designing. I started painting initially at high school but later progressed it as my college studies. However know I tend to paint a means of relaxing my thoughts. A means of taking my thoughts away from Architecture and exploring the use of freedom on a Canvas.
