Finger Fluting

"Finger fluting" refers to marks found in multiple prehistoric cave art sites that are made by dragging the fingertips down cave walls. Analysis of many finger fluting marks shows that they were made by very young children, but were at a height that meant the children would have had to be held up to make the marks. This was an image that got stuck in my head from the first time I read about it, so here's a mother and child making some art roughly 35,000-17,000 years ago.
