December Song

By

Dec 19, 2009 – (514 views)

TWO NAMES CARVED UPON A BENCH
A FORGOTTEN WORLD
AND WISHES DREAMT
SPOKEN LIVES AS WE BREATHED THE SAME BREATHS
KISSING IN OUR PARK
AMONGST LEAVES UNKEMPT
A LAZY WIND
CHALLENGED THE NAKED TREE
AS IT HELD OUT ITS AMITY
TO YOU AND ME
WE SAT DOWN TO REST OUR HEARTS
SO WEARY
HELD EACH OTHER SO DESPERATE
SO TIGHTLY
THEN CARVED OUR NAMES INTO A BENCH
TO A FORGOTTEN WORLD
AND WISHES DREAMT

Andy.. I have to agree, music and words go together and dance in swirls of unseen breeze. You never disappoint!

Your songs are like little movies, the notes sound like leaves dancing in the wind
