Artist Bio:
Jennifer Bisson is an emerging Ottawa-born artist who focuses on identity and culture balancing both humour and sincerity, abstraction and representation. While studying at the University of Guelph in both the Art History and Studio Art programs she was able to learn from such prestigious artists as Martin Pearce, FASTWÜRMS (Kim Kozzi & Dai Skuse), Sandra Rechico, Sadko Hadzihasanovic and Peter Johnston, while learning advanced analytical criticism from Dr.John Potvin, Dr.Susan Douglas, Dr.Chandler Kirwin, Robert Enright and many others. Her abilities, techniques and ideas have been nurtured and refined to enable her to have a great flexibility and range in her style. Experimentation is the keystone to all of her works, each one telling a different story in a different visual language.

She is currently practicing her art in Ottawa, Ontario, through private commissions and local exhibitions downtown.
