bloodjelly: thanks :D i intended to give her eyes a sort of a glassy look to serve some meaning later on. but ask you said it looks rather unnatural, i really think so too. i have changed the proportions of the eyes not shown here, i might change the horizontal highlights as you suggested ( coz even...

fantasy genre has all the heat these days. fantasy and surreal lets an artist have the work look real but at the same time add elements that seem out of the world. it lets us express our minds every now and then the fantasys we think of as well!:D

Mtv: thank you very much :) i have an artist mate online who inspired me alot with his works that it spured me and to grow artistically mentally and physically with my drawings. After which it showed me art is not always only copying and pasting all that you see, so those which i used reference are ...

its such a great piece! i love the shiny awirls, thats forms it look more dream-like. the colours of the sky matches so well, like a night-time heaven that usually fantasize about lol. i like how you make the bright spot at the point of the stick-like figure, making it have the main-object feel :)

the petals and proportions are done beautifully. however, i think the table has a nice glow, seems luminous, but the flowers looks not bright enough to be in comparison with the table. the vase is wonderful as well. nice painting overall though :)
