Re: Greeting from China !!!

This looks intriguing! Did you use ink for all the paintings?

Re: Please give me your opinion

Your paintings all seem to carry a different atmosphere, and it's cool. You could work on your human anatomy though. I know it's meant to be vague, but it's good to know the basic shape and such so it looks nicer. I recommend reading some of my tips here http://www.helium.com/items/2288318-how-to-dr...

Re: What do think about my style??

I agree with jeremy. It also looks like leather and mosaics at the same time.

What I'm getting from the picture is the story of the Three Wise Men...I'm not sure if that's what you intended

First try at pastel pencils

Not that I haven't used pastel before, but pastel pencils are new to me. Done on black paper because I realised that pastel can still be seen on black. http://thumbs.imagekind.com/member/e9b620c4-c1e0-408a-bf6c-6d15a25bf599/uploadedartwork/650X650/96d0886d-8217-43f6-af49-d64b10af157f.jpg If you real...

Re: The rest of my Military works

Thank you for your insight, I will brush up on my anatomy. Maybe draw muscular structures like I used to have to do in my anatomy classes in college. Or, it is possible that portraits are not my flare and I should just stick to the basic's. Thanks again for the insight, I'm just sorry for the lifel...

Re: International Baccalaureate (IB) Art Tips

Woohoo! A fellow IB student! Well, since I pretty much screwed up my IB Art HL exams, I'm not sure how much my advice can help you now. But I guess a 4 isn't that bad? My first advice is to stick to one consistent theme throughout the course. If it's broad, great. You can dig deeper and find more li...

Re: The rest of my Military works

I'm getting the feeling that many of these are drawn from photographs, which aren't exactly the best reference source for portraits - the essence and personality of each of the subjects are left out. They're still good nevertheless. I suggest studying the facial anatomy more though, and you can also...

Re: Critique Some of My New Digital Work

Hey, These all look pretty intriguing now. I sense that you're trying to create a traditional feel to a digital painting and that's fine. I would suggest experimenting with texture brushes, as they can really make a digital piece look like a pencil drawing sometimes. I really like your second and th...

Re: Hello

That's cool, I come from a Disney loving family so know exactly what you're talking, ever since "The Little Mermaid" the Princesses have looked similar except for maybe Mulan, but they seem to make her eyes more round in promotional material than they appeared in the movie. Thanks for sha...
