Portrait of Jessica

You may have noticed that I've been away for a while. For that I apologize. I've been doing a lot of travelling for work lately. It's good that I'm staying busy but I always start missing my art when I'm away from it. I have a little time off right now so I started something new. This is a portrait ...

Re: Portrat of Melissa

Thank you for all the nice words :)

I brought my camera over to her house for this weekend. Hopefully she will let me take some more reference pictures to work from in the future. :)

Re: Self Portrait on Tinted Paper

Thank you for all the replies and critiques. I do appreciate them :) Shars, yes I do agree with all that you said. Yesterday I worked on this for too long and my eyes started playing tricks on me. It's funny how you can stare at something for so long and overlook different things that need adjusting...

Self Portrait on Tinted Paper

Hi everyone :) I'm back with a new drawing already, lol. It's very rare that I finish 2 drawings in only 4 days but I did this week. Anyways, this is a self portrait that I did. It's been a few years since I last did a self portrait so I thought it was about time. Again, this was a practice piece. I...

Portrat of Melissa

Hi guys. I put my nose to the gridstone the past few days and finished something new. It's rare for me to finish a drawing in just a few days. This is a portrait of my beautiful girlfriend, Melissa. I did this drawing as a practice piece. I love drawing on toned paper like this and it was a nice cha...

Nude Figure Drawing

Hi everyone. I know it's been a while since my last drawing. I apologize for that. I've been so busy with my day job lately, doing a lot of traveling for that. Anyway, this is a new drawing I've been working on for the past few weeks. It's a commission work for a customer in the UK. She wanted me to...

Carrie Underwood Portrait

Hey guys. It's been a busy week for me. I finished an oil painting and this drawing. It's rare that I finish two works in a week. Anyway, this is a pencil portrait I did of the lovely Carrie Underwood. I did this drawing just for fun...and practice. I've done a few of these drawings on tinted paper ...

Darth Vader Painting

Hi everyone. It's been a while since I have painted. Yesterday I got out my brushes and did this portrait of Darth Vader. This was my first time painting on linen. Usually I use canvas. I probably will never use canvas again now. Linen is awesome to paint on. I used a lot of blues and cool colors so...
