Hi Shelly I like you work, even though I don't do abstract, I can see some of your thought process. My favorite was the "time flies" Unlike Gary Dee, I don't find the irregular circles distracting. We are producing art, and not drafting. They are all very emtional, and colorific. longfellow

Great job Andy, I like the contrast you have achieved, and it is difficult to do a night scene, and not overdo the black. I know it is probably an illusion, but the painting seems to have so much detail to it. Thanks for sharing this with us, expecially in a step by step. Longfellow

I can hardly critique your work, you are well above my work. I like the house and fence, and even the foilage on the right, but somehow the trees in the foreground are a little distracting. Maybe the values don't provide for the best depth. I wished I could crank out such work in one day, so keep up...

Your work is always excellent Brian. It is almost

Thanks for the comments. I guess the gila monster
was sort of incidental, but I felt the composition
needed something. The colors were stylized. My son
has red decor, so I wanted to do it in something
complementary. Thanks Longfellow

A new painting, actually a Christmas present for my
son. 18in X 24in oil on masonite.
Look forward to any constructive suggestions.
