Critique.

Postby Stacy Jane » Fri Feb 10, 2012 8:41 am

I would love some feedback on some of my photography. I've also posted on the art critique board as I didn't know there was a board dedicated to photography.
As you can see I specialise in flowers and skyscapes.

Ok WOW your color is great, the placing of subject is excellent. Lighting, focus, shutter speeds seem equalized. Make prints get them framed and make some money!
:D :D :) :) :D :D :D :D

Thanks! I would love to make a living out of my photography.
I keep sending emails of my photography to various interior design companies/retailers in the U.K but I've only had one reply and no comissions.

I really enjoy the first picture, it has a good composition and I like the lighting. The second one wasn’t bad , but it feels lower quality (like it was from a 70’s magazine). The last two aren’t bad, but I just feel like those kinds of scenes are a bit over used.

First one's the best in terms of color, sharpness, and subject. The second looks really grainy and shot from a low quality camera, and I don't know whether that was intentional but it's not for me. I agree that the last two scenes are pretty much overused and without anything new to offer, your pics just look unoriginal and generic (Even the flower subject is already pushing it.") Still, the first photo is great, though it can still be improved.
