How do you handle it? It does not seem to help by reviewing the art of others and the time off gives me the feeling of wasting time. Grandaddyearl
Yes! Breaks are crucial for me, too, even if it's just a walk with the dog or doing something else active but brief. A change of scenery and blood flow does lots of good. As a graphic designer I've gotten fairly good at cruising in and out of my little time outs pretty quickly, since a deadline's a deadline, but with fine art what the hell - just do what you need to do. What's the point of running into a wall, deciding the only way to go is through, and days later discovering that wall was reinforced concrete? I've done that too many times and found some sneaky shortcuts around the sides.
