Rambling Thoughts of the artists

Postby MiChelleAngella » Thu Mar 11, 2010 9:27 pm

Although I don't consider myself an artist yet- novice yes, aspiring artist yes..
but I do have a passion to create. art.

My personal art journal would show the kind of art that my soul creates.. the ones that start out without a plan, and it seems to lead, and I follow.. and along the way I get to see the story my subconscious is telling. [One of those artworks I have in my gallery titled "The Healing" - an expression at the time I was grieving when my cat Neon, was gone.
[Thanks for your comments on that:)]

Apart from making those kinds of art to express what i'm feeling..
~I'm also in love with drawing faces of people..
~I've been playing around with Abstracts and loving it..
~And my latest discovery is that i'm not too bad with seascapes..

It's a journey, one where I keep improving, and I continue with lots of experimenting..
sometimes I have to throw out experiments-gone-bad.. other times I feel euphoria because i've discovered how to make a special effect with powdered graphite, or when I add salt, and even Isopropyl to a certain medium.

These past months though, i've been in limbo [I lost my mojo too], because of migraines [which i've had for years, but now it's gotten worse] .. But it feels like i'm getting better now, and that means, closer to creating new art again.. hopefully even over the weekend..

That would be very wonderful to get back on the art wagon..
and to find back my mojo.

Feel free to share your personal art ramblings here if you wish :P

Hi,

I fully agree ...

Michelle...

Pain is no one's friend & I hope you continue to recover from the migraines... they're no fun and very hard to 'work' around in a positive or creative way.

May you find more 'mojo' than you need, & may you share your newly created works with all of us soon! :D

Why thank you my dear. Sorry about your hurty head if I could come over to your tropical paradise and make it go away I would. Migranes are terrible and you have my sympathy.

I highly sympathize with you, Michelle. I have 'Cluster Headaches', similar to migraines but much worse in the pain department and thank God they don't last as long. They are almost more like 'seizures', and one is completely 'disabled' for a couple of hours. They are a bit related to migraines, so my heart goes out to you.

Thanks much everyone, I sometimes have to do breathing exercises, and use the power of my mind.. [call it Reiki if you will], in order for the pain to get less intense.

Sorry to hear about the cluster headaches.. pain can be a headache

I agree. It can also be suicidal. Clusters are also called "suicide headaches". I have to 'try' to go into deep meditation. That's the only partial escape.
