I find the background too purple. The wrinkles on the elbow seem a bit too circlish. Otherwise the light is good and the position of the hands are good as well.

Just wondering, what are they reaching for ?

heaven, a better life, bling and hos... whatever silly thing they think they have to drag each other down for.

and tell that to the old man's elbow!

and it looks purple? it's winton french ultramarine. i always thought that it was a blue (i'm fairly color blind and have difficulty with hybrid colors.)

The color might be different in the original, maybe the picture or my screen is making more purple

yah, it's purplish, but that doesn't bother me, if that is what colour you want the background to be. But it's kind of a freaky image. preportions are well done. Fred might be interested in this one, eh Gary?

Well Anthony, it is interesting. One thing I might like to see is a thumb on the hand in the far right, but it's fine. By the way, I'm mostly inspired by a foot fetish, not hands. Maybe breasts or a butt now and then.

I try not to give my opinion out too much for my lack of confidence in my out talent but let me give it a try. the over all work is very nice, the light source seems to be even though the piece. good eye movement. i think a bit of a lack of a focal point. I think the background is a little flat, by that i mean its just color nothing really to look at to keep the eye movement on the piece. something i also have a problem with my self.

I think it is a talented and very well done piece of work, except for the blood & gore. I believe it messes up the potential for an otherwise brilliant 'theme'.
