a pen and ink study

Postby Attila Levai » Sat Jun 04, 2011 9:23 am

Hi there,

Here is a very recent work from me. It is cherries freshly picked from our tree, which were temporarily saved from being eaten. ;)

What do you think?

There is a lot of movement for a still life because of the flow of the line work. Well done!

Thanks man! I haven't thought about the flowing movements this way yet.

I can feel their freshness and juicy test just by looking at your artwork. Wonderful pen and ink work. :D

Could you elaborate a little more, please, about "movement" in "still life". This is really a new one on me. I thought it was called still life because there was no movement.
Thanks in advance!
