I love the technique as well! I would cover over the drip marks on the bottom as it would add a little bit more mystery to the process and possibly make it appear like a whole in the canvas. The complimentary colours of purple and yellow work well together. I would explore more with the colours, try adding more colours in one piece to add more depth. All in all I think it's a great piece!

Very nice - interesting effect. Was it a stamping process with crumpled plastic / paper to lift / resist the color? Good job.

Though I love me some drips, I have to agree with the first commenter. If you cleaned the edges with some extra-white gesso, there could be more focus on the real focus of the work. (I doubt you were wanting two drips and a couple edge splatters to be what steals my attention most.) Super cool! You should explore how different colors and materials feel and show off your work some more!

being honest as you said your painting is commendable to some extent but i am little doubtful about the end of colors whether they symbolize something or it in general is a kind of messy finishing to painting though i must say you play awesomely with the colors that have added life to your painting. 8)

thanks everybody! I ended up cleaning the two drips off with some water so they are faded almost all the way to white, definitely makes the colors pop a bit more.
thanks

I personally don't tend to like abstract pieces but I love this! The colours are great :)
