I like alternative music from the early/mid nineties, but nothing new. Honestly it's damn near impossible to find any good music on any good-sized radio station. Viacom/Clear Channel own everything. Bleh. On the plus side I've been expanding my interest to all sorts of other genres, from bluegrass to rap. There are a bunch of threads on here with some really good music suggestions in them, take a look. 8)

I like alternative, But when I download it I download the acoustic versions or from mtv unplugged. Have you ever listened to Flaw?. My husband is heavy into it. He likes disturbed and flaw the most.

I am a bona fide Indie-kid. Started off on Heavy Metal, then Grunge then Industrial and then into Indie. My big Bro used to listen to it when I was a kid so I think it must have rubbed off on me. The Smiths, Stone Roses and then onto Blur, Oasis, The Verve. But still old favourites such as U2 and Pink Floyd and definately The Beatles.
I am a fan of Alternative music such as Sonic Youth and I guess if you looked through my record/CD/Tape/MP3 collection you would find just about every genre in there. Variety is the spice of life I guess. :D

Hehe. It would seem that your CD collection is quite popular. :D

Do any of you guys like Nickleback? I think that their newer songs are pretty good.
