Wanderlust, Bjork

Postby bloodjelly » Mon Apr 21, 2008 2:39 pm

Has anyone seen Bjork's Wanderlust video? Pretty trippy. I thought the whole thing was CG so I was surprised to see animatronics and "real life" stuff in the making of it. Anyway here's that making-of video if you're interested:

You can see the actual music video in 3D or 2D here: http://www.wired.com/entertainment/musi ... t_3d_video

Wow, that must have been so much fun making all that stuff! She has such a boundless imagination. Recently discovered another Icelandic group - Sigur Ros. Great music and equally good videos. Check out Hoppipolla :)

It's like you're reading my mind ANDY!!! I have this compilation album with a Kings of Convenience song called Know-how. They have such a cool sound, and so I was checking them out on Youtube, which led to Royksopp, which somehow led me on to Sigur Ros (phew! long nite). So I've realised, I love nordic music :D The Cardigans too, it must be all that dark and cold weather. You either get really creative or drunk (or both!).
Having said that, I don't know what Ireland's excuse is :? Did you see our entry for the Eurovision last year? Yep, a turkey  Where's Lordy when you need them!

Anyway, I'm off to check out that song about the Cayman islands, any further suggestions are welcome 8) Thanks!

Wow Andy,

That truly is a beautiful song :) Love the strings. My hat is off to you for playing the guitar - I bought one a few months ago and all I managed was a very delayed and disjointed version of the James Bond theme (I'm laughing just thinking about it!!) Dum-de-de-de-dum...... dum-dum-dum....... My poor sister had to sit through that for about 15 minutes  Sort of gave up after that.
I saw on another thread you recorded some music, is that a difficult process or could anyone do it? I love singing and would love to mess around with that, but obviously I don't have any music (de-de-dum-dum)
