A poem for the traveler

"When you are old and gray and full of sleep, and nodding by the fire, take down this book and slowly read, and dream of the soft look your eyes had once, and of their shadows deep."

A poem for the traveler

Postby Tom » Fri Mar 16, 2012 9:27 am

Title: None

On an Eastbound bus,
I don't know where it's taking us,
I'm already home,
I'm tired of keeping track
tired of watching my back,
I've got an itch for someone to scratch,
They're nowhere to be found,
Driver,
don't go so fast,
Try and make this ride last,
I'm trying to remember how to laugh,
Could happen real, real soon,
In a windowseat,
enjoying the view,
When I'm getting off,
I haven't a clue,
if you want to come,
you can come along too,
I'm already home.
