Art Contest - Fantasy Environment

Postby bloodjelly » Tue Jun 01, 2004 2:10 pm

Contest theme: Fantasy environment
Medium: No restrictions
Deadline: June 28th 2004

In this contest you're going to be creating something not of this world. The more original the better! Again, there aren't many restrictions except your imagination. The judging will be a little different this time--we're going to set up a separate thread for public voting, which will be fun but will also be useful in case there's a tie. You have almost a month to submit your entries, so no excuses for late submissions! Hopefully we'll see some fun ones this time.

gonna have to bow out of this one. not much of a fan of the genre, so even less likely to do anything for it.

sorreeeee..

if things get really desperate i might try to think up something.

I may have something for this, but it could be a little weak.
Hey Rez, what about playing with those Yosemite shots? That could be other worldly...

could be.

moon was really nice out last night, if i was good and had a camera on me, i could snap some shots and see what i could do with it in photoshop but i didnt.

it'd be tacky anyway.

ideas are still milling though.

these are top, mag, lush and tempered enought not to look absurd. well done on abstaining from the "faeries and quasi-goth" route.

*still brewin...*

Thanks! I used the dry brush filter in photoshop for "Blurry Roots" and I really like the effect.
