'the grudge' is the film that has affected me recently...especially the attic part at the start...when i lock up at night and turn the lights off its the thing that sticks in my mind...
an old film that scared the shite out of me (and darren roasts me for this one), is called 'the changeling' starring george c scott...the part where he is recording himself playing piano and in the background is a ghostly voice saying joseph, shit, it scares me telling you about it.

I don't like, blood guts and gore. I prefer the psychological thrillers. Although I do like Psycho, but I can't look or listen to the shower scene.
I like the old classics, The Blob, Invasion of the Body Snatchers. Poltergeist, The Shining,
The Paper Boy and The Bad Seed.
But a scene from a movie that was the scariest for me, is in the movie "Fire in the Sky". There's a scence where after being abducted by aliens, the guy is being probed by the aliens. They have a long needle and are sticking it in his eye, and all the while the guy is screaming. Pretty scary stuff.

George C Scott's acting scared me the most....the most "unfrightened" person in a film ever!!!

"Your job isn't to get killed by the monster for your country, it's to make the other poor dumb sumbitch monster die for his country!" George C. Scott in just about any horror flick.

Speaking of actors who didn't belong in horror flicks, anyone ever catch this turkey- "Tourist Trap"? A buddy of mine kept telling me I had to see it. Finally, one day he went to a vid. store and picked it up on VHS. He swings by my house, drops it off, and tells me he has to get to work, but to watch the movie and tell him what I think of it. So I pop it in, and the title comes up, with some credits of a bunch of people I had never heard of. Turns out it's a gay porn video. I thought my buddy was pulling a prank, so I rewinded it back to the title, and retaped it to a blank screen. I called him and asked what was wrong with the tape, that I didn't see anything. He takes the tape back and pitches a bitch. They looked and found the real film. When he came by with the real one, I told him what I did to the other tape. He spent the next 2 weeks worrying that the store was gonna bill him for the porno. LOL

Anyway, Tourist Trap with Chuck Conners. Sucks. Scary if you think a talking head rolling around like a bowling ball is scary. I think it was Conners attempt to be Anthony Perkins.
