Hearts Of Clay

"When you are old and gray and full of sleep, and nodding by the fire, take down this book and slowly read, and dream of the soft look your eyes had once, and of their shadows deep."

Hearts Of Clay

Postby surealworld » Sat Jan 08, 2011 12:35 am

A relationship is like a piece of clay,
on a potter's wheel.

Relationships spin round and round,
some time emotions are up,
some times there down.
A potter's wheel never spins perfectly level.

Hearts are like a piece of clay,
sometime they are hard,
sometimes they are soft.
They take their form from the touch of another person's hand.

Relationships are like a piece of clay,
on a potter's wheel.

If we fail to show compassion to each other,
the wheel will spin to fast,
our hearts will collapse in on themselves.

Relationships are like a piece of clay,
on a potter's wheel.

Anthony, I am glad you enjoyed reading my poem.Hearts Of Clay. I wrote this poem while getting ready for work one morning. God works in mysterious ways.

Nicely done on this poem, I like how you have created with one medium the topic of another creative medium... :D

It went well with my coffee...

Trace, I am glad to hear my poem goes well with coffee. I usually take a donut with my coffee.
